IGP has partnered with Talented India to launch their new brand campaign, Amazing Gifts, Samay Par, which addresses an age-old problem: gifting. Every gift-giving occasion – be it festive or personal – is tied to a specific time. Think about it – why else would we invent prefixes like ‘delayed’ and ‘early’ for gift-giving occasions? Enter IGP, a D2C retailer of personalized, floral, gourmet and handcrafted gifting products. The brand has a global presence, customers in over 100 countries and over 1000 cities in India, and has created over 10 million stories of love and joy so far.

Tarun Joshi, CEO and Founder, IGP, said, “We are delighted to partner with Talented for our ‘Amazing Gifts, Samay Par’ campaign. Their creative vision and strategic approach have been instrumental in bringing this campaign to life. Together, we have created a series of films that traverse different eras – from the Ice Age to the future of robotics – and celebrate the joy of gifting across time. Each film highlights the importance of making these moments really count and shows that the value of a gift is enhanced when it comes at the perfect time. This campaign is a testament to the power of timely gifting and we are excited to see how it resonates with our audience.”

Leena Gupta, Founding Partner and Creative, Talented Agency, says, “Time is not just the oldest storyteller, it is also the oldest character in Indian pop culture. So we have enlisted the voice of Harish Bhimani to show you gifting occasions in six different timelines in the hope of reminding you to gift better through IGP. We have travelled back through the Ice Age, to the Stone Age and even to the space age 3000 AD. And all this to intentionally break out of this category full of maudlin advertisements that give you a warm and fuzzy feeling for a second but don’t drive brand recall.”

Shivang Monga, Director, adds, “This campaign is a fever dream that spans multiple timelines and genres. We have created a true recreation of all the eras we have shot in, but all as if BR Chopra and his crew had shot these films in the 80s. The commitment of every department to the craft was evident. From using chroma screens and practical effects for backgrounds, to filming in 4:3 format, adding film grain to mimic 16mm film cameras, to using the instrumentation of the original Mahabharat to find inspiration for the music, we were completely immersed in our work. And last but not least, getting Harish Bhimani to voice our films was the icing on the cake!”

Created by Talented and delivered by First December Films, the campaign features nine films – starting with a branded piece, followed by short films on various gifting occasions that you’ll see throughout the year.
