BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Rosalía have released the music video for their new collaboration titled “New Woman.”
The new music video was directed by famous music video director Dave Meyers, known for his work with Ariana Grande, Katy Perry and more. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Rosalía co-wrote “New Woman” with To Love, Tove Burman and Max Martin, who also co-produced the song with ILYA.
“Hit when I serve / Bitch, you better get out of the way / I rev up my aaaa aura / Focus on my mind / Give me time / I’m a new woman, woman,” Lisa sings the chorus. The song also includes a Spanish version of the chorus, sung by Rosalía.
“New Woman” was originally thought to be titled “Brand New Día” after BLACKPINK’s Lisa posted a teaser for the song on X (formerly Twitter) with a caption featuring the lyrics.

The Thai rapper presented a picture with a star-shaped necklace, pink hair and a matching leather jacket in the clip. “Here I go / I hit it, I hit it, I wanna bring these walls down / I hit it, I hit it, I wanna echo through the halls / I’m pulling up, fresh face, brand new day”, she raps on the snippet.

The release of “New Woman” comes just over a month after Lisa made her solo comeback with the single “Rockstar.” The song was her first release since she decided not to re-sign with YG Entertainment as a solo manager in December and subsequently formed LLOUD in February of this year.
The Thai K-pop idol is scheduled to co-headline the 2024 Global Citizen Festival alongside Post Malone, Doja Cat, Jelly Roll and Rauw Alejandro at the Central Park Great Lawn in New York City next month.
In related news, Lisa was recently named Louis Vuitton’s new brand ambassador, shortly after she stepped down as representative of fellow LVMH brand Celine in June. Commenting on her appointment, the brand said that Lisa’s “achievements reflect the values that are at the core of Louis Vuitton – a passion for creativity combined with a commitment to excellence in its craft.”
