Update: Just a week after we got our first look at Travis Scott’s upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Velvet Brown,” we now have a closer look at the design. The brown version is now confirmed to feature Scott’s signature Cactus Jack branding in black on the interior, matching the Swooshes, heel branding, and sole. The release is expected to take place next spring via Nike SNKRS and select retailers, priced at $150 USD.
Update: Another wave of Travis Scott-approved Air Jordan 1 Low OGs have hit the market, starting with the “Canary” colorway and continuing with the release of a “Medium Olive” pair in September. Joining the list of upcoming designs is a “Velvet Brown” look that was first rumored in early May. Now, we’ve got a first look at the pair, which highlights the lateral inverted Swooshes, smiley logo on the left shoe’s heel tab, and monochromatic brown arrangement. While more details are sure to be announced soon, you can enjoy a sneak peek at the sneaker above and stay tuned for updates as it’s expected to hit shelves next spring via Nike SNKRS and select retailers for a price of $150 USD.
Original story: A new shoe from Travis Scott and Jordan Brand is on the way and it looks like the partnership will involve the classic Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP. Featuring Cactus Jack branding, the shoe was announced by @zsneakerheadz, who provided a model of the upcoming “Velvet Brown” colorway.
The sneaker insider source reveals that the upcoming low-top from the Swoosh and Travis Scott is expected to launch next year, coming in a dark mocha, black and velvet brown color scheme. According to the models, the shoe will come in a color-blocked design in shades of brown, with the majority of the upper in dark mocha, while the overlays are velvet brown. The Swoosh will be complemented in tumbled leather atop a dark sole. Other Travis Scott drops rumored to be releasing next month include the Air Jordan 1 Low “Medium Olive,” while the “Elkins” and “Black/Olive” are set to release later this fall.
