We all know that the police arrest people for speeding because local governments need the revenue.

But usually the police are not so honest in this regard.

Not in this story!

Listen.

This story was told to me by an ambulance driver.

By comparison, in our country, police officers do not have to pay for certain medical examinations and are generally treated with great respect in hospitals.

Mr. S has some professional experience here…

Mr. S. has been an ambulance driver at our local hospital for over 20 years.

Occasionally he also acted as personal driver for the hospital director.

One day, when Mr. S. was driving his boss’s car on an urgent matter, he was stopped by a police officer whom he knew from the hospital.

This cop never gave him a chance.

Although Mr. S. tried to explain the situation and avoid trouble with his boss, the police officer issued him a $40 speeding ticket, saying, “No offense, I’m just collecting money for my government.”

Later that same day, Mr. S. was reprimanded by the hospital director for the speeding ticket.

However, the director also assured him that he would support him if Mr. S. planned any retaliatory measures.

The fate of this ambulance driver went in the right direction…

A few days later, Mr. S. was walking through the hospital when he saw the same police officer standing in front of the accounting manager’s office.

Curious, he inquired about the police officer’s company and learned that the officer was trying to register his mother’s breast scan in his own name in order to avoid paying the bill.

Basically, he was asking for a favor.

He decided to shoot back.

Mr. S. saw an opportunity.

He asked the accounting manager to give him the police officer’s documents and offered to register the scan as a favor.

Mr. S. took the papers and registered the scan at the full price of $280.

Then he went back to the policeman and handed him the bill.

And the icing on the cake!

The police officer was shocked and asked what had happened. Mr. S. replied with a smile: “No offense, I’m just collecting money for my government.”

Oops! Neither the policeman nor the driver had any luck!
