Celebrating the 72nd Anniversary of the Brevard Humane Society
BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Brevard Humane Society announces its 13th Annual Tuxes & Tails Gala on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
This year this fantastic event will take place at the Radisson Resort at the Port, 8701 Astronaut Blvd in Cape Canaveral.
This year’s gala marks a significant milestone as it not only recognizes the Brevard Humane Society’s 72 years of dedicated service in providing shelter and a safe haven for homeless animals, but more importantly, the evening highlights the power of community solidarity and the positive impact of collective efforts for a common cause, as proceeds from this event will benefit the rebuilding of the 62-year-old animal shelter on Cox Road in Cocoa.
The gala is generously presented by Subaru of Melbourne and supported by distinguished sponsors including Lite Rock 99.3, Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse, Jon’s Fine Jewelry, Victory Casino Cruises and others. Various sponsorship packages are available such as the Titanium Sponsor and Tail Wagger levels, which offer benefits such as reserved and VIP seating, sponsorship recognition and pet tickets.
Visitors can also become “furanthropists” and enjoy premium seating for two guests and two pets, as well as special gift bags.
The evening event will once again feature Mindy Levy of Lite Rock 99.3 FM as master of ceremonies, and the Wasdin family will serve as honorary hosts.
There will be many special appearances throughout the evening, including nonprofit auctioneer Johnny Wiedmann of Wiedmann Roofing & Construction. Entertainment will be provided by the Showtime Band and many other surprise artists!
For the first time, guests will have the opportunity to purchase one (of only 100) premium bottles of wine from Jon’s Fine Jewelry’s Private Reserve valued at $50, in some cases including a $500 gift certificate or loose gemstone!
