Forbes Advisor will make you feel really good or really bad about your dog.
To help potential dog buyers/adopters choose the right breed, they set out to find the best and worst behaved dog breeds. First, they contacted the American Kennel Club to determine the 25 most popular dog breeds. They then surveyed 200 owners of each breed, for a total of 5,000 dog owners.
They then classified the breeds into two categories: temperament and obedience.
Questions to owners in the temperament category concerned general behavior, whether the animals whine a lot, destroy things, swallow foreign objects, try to escape, etc.
Questions in the “following commands” category included how often their dog jumped on people, barked at others, begged for food at the table, how well he walked on a leash, etc.
Let’s end this article on a positive note by saving the good guys for last.
