A number of details about the OnePlus 13 have just surfaced online. The information comes from Digital Chat Station, a well-known Chinese informant. He shared the information on Weibo.
More specifically, he shared the OnePlus 13’s battery capacity, wired and wireless charging information, main camera details, and haptic motor information. So let’s talk about these details in that order, okay?
Some details about the OnePlus 13 have just surfaced online
The device is expected to pack a 6,000mAh battery, which is a significant improvement over the OnePlus 12’s already powerful battery. The OnePlus 12 has proven to be one of the best flagship smartphones this year in terms of battery life, and the OnePlus 13 could take this to a whole new level.
You don’t really see a 5,400mAh battery in many flagship smartphones, let alone a 6,000mAh one. If you’re wondering how OnePlus will pack it into the phone, well, it’s probably a silicon-carbon battery. It takes up less space than a regular battery because it’s denser, which gives smartphone OEMs more flexibility.
Now the phone also supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. This isn’t exactly new, as the OnePlus 12 offered the exact same wired and wireless charging speeds. Needless to say, though, that’s pretty fast, faster than what Samsung, Google, and Apple have to offer, by quite a bit.
The phone will use the same main camera and lens as its predecessor
And now for the camera. The OnePlus 12 will apparently feature Sony’s LYT808 main camera sensor with an f/1.6 aperture lens. In other words, OnePlus wants to keep the same camera and lens as the OnePlus 12.
Of course, there could be some changes in terms of ultra-wide-angle and periscope telephoto cameras. The detail that the informant revealed has to do with the vibration motor. The OnePlus 13 will use the O916T haptic motor, which is also used in the OnePlus 12.
You can also look forward to a large and beautiful OLED display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, among other details.
