Singapore-based kids’ technology brand myFirst has announced myFirst Camera 50. Aimed at young creatives ages 5-12, this kids camera features AI-powered photo and video editing. The AI analyzes content, recognizes facial expressions, scenes, and colors to “create perfectly curated stories with minimal effort.”

The myFirst Camera 50 has a 20MP main camera with a wide-angle lens and a 20mm macro lens. An adjustable selfie light bar offers three warm lighting modes for selfies. The camera also features Wi-Fi connectivity and up to 128GB of storage.

The camera is designed to work without tracking or collecting personal data and to focus solely on improving content. In the myFirst Circle app, where children can share their photos and videos, parents can control visibility and manage posts to ensure content is only shared with authorized family members and friends.

In addition, the camera has a built-in myDiary feature that allows children to combine photography with keeping a diary by responding to AI-powered prompts.

The myFirst Camera 50 can now be pre-ordered for $129.90/£109 in bright blue and cool purple from the myFirst website.

Main features of the myFirst Camera 50:

  • AI-powered curation
