The “Black Cat” mania will reach its peak in late 2025, as the Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat” is set to return in late 2025. The shoes will continue to retain the all-black colorway, but will feature an updated shape designed to reflect the original Air Jordan 4 silhouette from 1989.
As confirmed by reliable sources @zsneakerheadz, Sneaker Files, and @sneakermarketro, the Black Cat Jordan 4 will join the already extensive lineup of Air Jordan releases planned for next year. 2025 is a milestone year for Air Jordans as it marks the 40th anniversary of Michael Jordan’s collaboration with Nike, Inc.
The Black Cat 4 was originally released in 2006 and made its celebratory comeback in 2020. Pairs are currently fetching up to $1,000 on the secondary market. That alone makes the Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat” one of the best sneaker releases of the year.
While we now know to expect the shoes in late 2025, a firm release date and product SKU are currently unknown. However, the official colorway specs are Black/Black-Light Graphite and the MSRP is expected to be $215. More developments are sure to come as we get closer to the release in more than a year; stay tuned to our Jordan release dates page.

The Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat” was originally released in 2006. It is considered to be the very first pair of Black Cat Jordans in history. In 2020, Jordan Brand re-released the shoes; as mentioned, the “Black Cat” Jordan 4s are highly sought after and fetch prices well above the original MSRP.
