World-class wilderness resort in British Columbia listed for $21.5 million

In northern British Columbia, a spectacular world-class wilderness resort has come onto the market, selling for less than some (though not many) homes in Vancouver.

Little Wolf Resort is an award-winning property located near Terrace on the Skeena River. Tucked away in the woods near the river bank, the resort is built from massive cedar logs to resemble a giant log cabin.

“The world’s first castle with a natural wood frame made of red and yellow cedar,” is the resort’s slogan.

The massive trees used for the structure were hand selected. It was built by Pioneer Log Homes and is located on the Wooden Kings Show when it was built in 2017. The resort building has also been featured in other shows and magazine articles and was named the best wilderness hotel in Canada.

With eight bedrooms and ten bathrooms, it offers fishing, wilderness experiences and privacy.

It is currently for sale for $21.5 million, which would make it an expensive home in Vancouver, but would not currently put it in the top 10 on the real estate market.

Although it is remote compared to Vancouver, it is actually located right off Highway 16. According to Google Maps, Little Wolf Lodge is about a 14-hour drive from the city.
