Cardi B attends the 4th Annual Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California on June 21, 2024.

One of the first things I quickly learned about pregnancy is that there are certain things I can no longer do, like enjoying a second cup of coffee, eating raw fish, or even sausage and certain soft cheeses. In addition, I had to give up some of my favorite cosmetics and skincare products. Many pregnant women, including celebrities like Cardi B, face the same restrictions. Recently, Cardi B addressed rumors about her skincare routine, specifically debunking the narrative that she bleached her skin while pregnant with her third child.

After share a photo of herself and a friend touching her growing belly, a X user asked whether the rapper was bleaching her skin because she looked paler than usual. But in classic Cardi B style, she immediately clapped back.

“Bleaching while pregnant?” she replied with several sideways glance emojis. “Why do you all have to be so stupid? Actually, NO! I’m pregnant, I’m slightly anemic, this baby is sucking all my energy out until I’m pale, my eyes are sunken, my veins are green like ASF, I can’t tan in the sun because I get hot and dizzy super quickly… PLEASE STOP THINKING WITH YOUR ASSHOLE!”

According to the National Library of Medicine, some ingredients and processes in skin care products can be risky for pregnant women and may even pose a threat to the baby. However, there are numerous beauty products that are safe to use during pregnancy.

It seems Cardi B just can’t escape the rumor mill, and she has plenty of time to deal with the wild stories that come her way. She recently admitted that she “hated” living in Atlanta while going through her divorce from Offset. During an Instagram Live on Thursday (August 22), she took a swipe at her soon-to-be ex-husband’s hometown, clarifying that she actually lives in New Jersey with her kids, though many assumed she was still living in Atlanta with the former Migos rapper.

“I don’t live in Atlanta. I have a house in Atlanta. I only go to Atlanta three or four times a year. And I’m probably there for a week, maybe less. I tried to move to Atlanta in 2018 and lived there for about six months. And I hated it. I don’t have a single friend in Atlanta and I don’t even have a family member in Atlanta. So I just don’t like Atlanta,” she explained.

Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset for the second time earlier this month after they drifted apart for a long period of time, with a source close to the couple telling TMZ that the split was “a long time coming.”
