CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) — Nothing seems to be off limits for a package thief who was caught on camera targeting homes near Old Town Clovis and in Fresno’s Tower District.
This thief likes to steal packages, but she’ll settle for anything that isn’t nailed down.
She’s neither sneaky nor quick, but when the porch pirate strikes, she’s determined to get away with something in her hands.

Last week, she was filmed by homeowners in Clovis taking packages from their porches.
The crook is driving a blue Toyota Prius, but so far no surveillance camera has captured the license plate.
Corporal Amandeep Singh says the thief was very bold.
“They don’t care if there’s a camera. They just go and grab the packages,” said Cpl Singh.
It seems like nothing is off limits. When a dog barks as the porch pirate approaches, she runs with the wooden chair all the way to her car.
At another home in Fresno, the crook parked in the driveway and then inspected the porch.
One load of stolen items wasn’t enough for her. She came back for more but couldn’t get a flowerpot off the hook.

Clovis police say package thieves aren’t concentrated in just one area.
“In our experience, people who typically commit criminal activities such as thefts usually commit them in Clovis and Fresno at the same time,” Captain Singh said.
Clovis police said the package thief robbed four homes last Wednesday and possibly two more. There were also two other cases in Fresno. Cpl. Singh said empty packages were found near Clovis and Barstow avenues.
