Satterfield’s radio show begins Tuesday; Hoard begins his 25th year as “The Voice”

CINCINNATI – With the opening game of the football season in Cincinnati less than an hour away, this Tuesday’s edition Scott Satterfield The radio show marks the beginning of Dan Hoard’s 25th year as the voice of the Bearcats.

Hoard will be joined in the booth by fellow University of Cincinnati Hall of Famer Jim Kelly Jr., who is entering his 37th season as the team’s co-commentator. Hoard is also the live commentator for the Cincinnati Bengals, making him the only FBS commentator to also serve as an NFL team’s radio announcer.

Former quarterback Tony Pike returns as sideline reporter. All pregame broadcasts begin 60 minutes before the game and include analysis as well as interviews with student athletes by Mo Egger.

TUNE IN ON MATCH DAY

All games will be broadcast on 700 WLW, with the first two games moving to WEBN at 6:15 p.m. and 3:10 p.m., respectively, due to Reds conflicts. Houston and Texas Tech games are still being announced, depending on kickoff times.

MORE ABOUT THE SATTERFIELD SHOW

All shows air live from the original Montgomery Inn every Tuesday from 8-9 p.m., except October 1 and 29 due to game-free weeks. Most air on WLW, with some moving to WCKY and WSAI early in the season.

Fans are welcome to attend and ask questions. Table reservations are recommended. Satterfield will also be accompanied by a coach and a student-athlete most weeks.
