In her viral TikTok video, dog mom Hannah Bloch immediately makes it clear what is going on.
“Please pray for Moose – there is nothing wrong with him, we just told him not to drink our chocolate milkshake,” explains the text on the screen.
This approach is understandable, since chocolate is known to be toxic to dogs!

But try telling that to Moose… to him, the snack ban is like the end of the world.
To convey this feeling even more clearly, the clip was accompanied by tragic music.
“In the Arms of an Angel” by Sarah McLachlan plays while the pitiful-looking dog stares into space with big, sad eyes and his nose rests on the table.
According to VCA Animals – a company that cares for animal health – chocolate can cause vomiting, diarrhea, heart palpitations and increased panting in dogs.
In some cases, eating chocolate can be fatal for animals and a veterinarian should be consulted immediately if a dog ever comes into contact with chocolate.
