Washington, DC – A burglary occurred early Wednesday at a business on H Street in Northeast Washington, and authorities are asking the public for help in identifying the suspect involved.
At approximately 5:30 a.m., the suspect forced his way into the vacant business in the 700 block of H Street. After gaining entry, he stole property and fled the area.
The suspect was recorded by surveillance cameras.
Community members with information regarding the suspect or the incident are asked to contact authorities at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and charges in connection with the crime.

- Armed robbery suspect caught on camera in DC
Washington, DC — Authorities are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery that took place Friday in southeast DC
The incident occurred around 1:43 p.m. in the 1800 block of Independence Avenue.
No further details about the robbery were released.

BALTIMORE, MD – On August 21, a fatal shooting occurred in the South District, sparking an active homicide investigation.
At approximately 12:25 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 800 block of South Paca Street. Upon arrival, they located an unidentified adult male with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
Homicide detectives are currently investigating the incident. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100.
