Justin Baldoni is surrounding himself with his family as reports of drama involving the cast of his latest film emerge. It ends with us.

On Thursday, August 22, the 40-year-old film director and actor spent the day at Universal Studios Hollywood with his wife Emily Baldoni, their 9-year-old daughter Maiya and their 6-year-old son Maxwell.

The family of four were all smiles as they posed for various photos in front of the theme park’s iconic tall white entrance gate.

Justin marked the occasion by sharing an Instagram photo of himself and his wife next to a quote from poet Rumi that read: “Beyond ideas of wrong and right lies a field. There we meet.”

He ended the romantic post with the words: “Happy 11th birthday, my love.” Earlier this month, Emily accompanied Justin to the New York premiere of It ends with us.

Rumors of a feud between the cast intensified after the premiere when fans noticed that Justin’s co-star Blake Lively appeared to be posing next to all of the other main actors except him.

Although he is the director, he did not introduce the film before the screening with Lively and author Colleen Hoover, who wrote the book on which the film is based.

Although Baldoni was absent from most of the joint promotional appearances, he spoke positively about his co-stars in individual interviews.

Although none of the cast members have commented on the alleged dispute, Baldoni has hired crisis PR manager Melissa Nathan of The Agency Group, a source familiar with the matter told PEOPLE this month. An on-set source also told PEOPLE that “not everything is as it seems.”

“There’s a lot more to this story. The lead actors and (writer) Colleen Hoover will have nothing to do with him,” the source on set said.
