If so, Rover has released a list of the most famous puppies in the US for 2024.
According to data from Rover, these are the eight most popular dog breeds in the USA
Mixed: Mixed breeds, also called mongrels or hybrids, are the most popular dog breeds. These dogs have different lineages, but because they are a mix of different breeds, they tend to have random personalities.
Labrador Retrievers: These dogs come in second place. They are full of energy and have a passion for water activities.
Goldendoodle: Goldendoodles are a mix of Golden Retriever and Poodle. These cute animals are known for their outgoing nature, intelligence and friendly character.
Golden Retrievers: These dogs have a light coat color, are playful and like to play in the water.
German shepherd dog: Fifth place goes to German Shepherds. They are known for their wolf-like appearance, loyalty and strong personality.
Chihuahuas: These dogs may be small, but they have a wild and playful character.
French Bulldog: French Bulldogs have bat-like ears and boxy faces that are loving and playful.
Dachshund: According to Rover, dachshunds are ranked eighth. These dogs with long backs and short legs are smart, brave and loyal dogs.
