Jared Leto was ready for the weekend in New York City on August 16, pairing an all-black ensemble with white loafers featuring a vibrant abstract design.
Leto was spotted out and about in the East Village on Friday. He showcased his signature edgy style in a sheer long-sleeved button-down shirt that left his upper body completely bare. He tucked the shirt into his pants and had it partially buttoned, creating a deep V-neck. He paired the top with straight-leg dress pants to create a monochrome aesthetic. The actor and musician wore black sunglasses and a silver chain to accentuate his ensemble.
For his footwear, Leto deviated from the black color scheme. He slipped into a pair of white loafers by Brooklyn-based fashion brand KidSuper. The model, which comes from the designer’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection, features a tan sole and abstract art on the upper; the right and left shoes were slightly differentiated by their colorful designs. In an avant-garde painting style, part of a face was visible on the right shoe, while other splashes of color on the vamp drew attention to Leto’s footwear. The shoes easily matched Leto’s eclectic fashion taste.
Mascalori offers a similar pair of evening shoes featuring works by artist trio AAA Fresh.
With his diverse outfits, Leto’s footwear often stands out and becomes the focal point of his ensembles. In July, he recently wore a pair of eye-catching, bright blue skull-shaped sandals that turned heads, which he paired with a breezy white ensemble. He wore chunky Velcro sneakers while performing with his band Thirty Seconds to Mars. He alternated between different shoes while promoting his film career, walking the red carpet in shoes such as white or red heeled boots.
