You’ve probably never heard of running back recruit (auto tag) Jayden Terry (/auto tag).

He is currently Michigan’s 14th-ranked recruit for 2026, according to 247Sports. While he’s only a three-star recruit, he clearly has interest in Notre Dame.

The interest is so great that the 5’1″ and 185lb running back will come to campus for the Irish’s first home game against Northern Illinois.

The interesting thing about this weekend’s visit is that the Irish are playing a team from the Mid-American Conference, where most of Terry’s current offers come from.

Notre Dame itself has not yet made him an offer, but currently only has two commitments for the class of 2026, so he may be an option at some point.

Terry is currently playing his junior season at Grandville. As a sophomore, he rushed for 1,713 yards and 24 touchdowns on 207 carries. He rushed for at least 100 yards in eight of his 10 games and also had three catches for 151 yards and two more touchdowns.
