Sgaeyl (Sail), a 1.5-year-old female cat, is one of the cats available for adoption at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society shelter, 1432 Tall Timber Road NE in New Philadelphia. She is extremely loyal and will love and bond with her owner. Sgaeyl came to the shelter as a stray. She came to the shelter with her five kittens. Now they are all gone and she remains here looking for a forever home.
Ginger Noodle, a 7-year-old terrier mix, is available at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society shelter. She was brought in by the animal control officer after living in conditions so horrible that her old home had to be torn down. She came to us with severe skin infections, dehydrated, covered in fleas, underweight, and with curled toenails. She is doing much better now and gets regular medicated baths to help her skin. She lived with 32 other dogs and four cats and got along well with all of them. She loves to go for walks and is very keen on treats. Adoption hours at the shelter are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. and Tuesday from 1-7 p.m. The shelter is closed on Thursdays. The phone number is 330-343-6060 and the website is www.tuschumanesociety.com.
