A Dollar Tree store location in Aiken recently fetched a seven-figure price.
Cal Ads LLC purchased the 1.08-acre property at 1032 East Pine Log Road for $2,476,836 from WTC of Banks Mill LLC.
According to Aiken County land records, the deal was completed on July 25.
Cal Ads is a limited liability company based in Georgia.
WTC Banks Mill is based in South Carolina. Thomas “Chip” Goforth II is the company’s registered agent.
Goforth’s address in the files of South Carolina Secretary of State Mark Hammond’s office is the same as that of the Sage Valley Golf Club: 2240 Sage Valley Drive, Graniteville.
Goforth is a longtime business partner of entrepreneur and developer Weldon Wyatt and Wyatt’s son Tom.
The Dollar Tree store on East Pine Log Road was built after WTC of Banks Mill purchased the property from Fogle Family Real Estate LLC for $650,000 in July 2023.
The property was formerly home to Carolina Fresh Farms, which relocated and is now located at 1335 East Pine Log Road.
There are other Dollar Tree stores in Aiken on Richland Avenue West near the Walmart Supercenter, at the corner of Laurens Street and Rutland Drive, and on South Aiken Lane.
In Graniteville there is a Dollar Tree on Bettis Academy Road.
