The “What Kind of Car is This” subreddit on Reddit is popular with people who need help identifying even the rarest cars.
One look at a car is enough and car lovers from all over the world only need a moment to recognize it.
However, this strange car seemed to have baffled even everyone in the group.

Mystery of strange car published on Reddit
This car, posted by a Reddit user named rfadouglas, sparked considerable discussion in the group as no one could recognize it.
rfadouglas wrote in the caption: “I can’t get any other photos of this. I’m guessing it’s a homebuilt or maybe a movie car but I’m stumped.”
This seems to be a reasonable answer, since no one could identify the bizarre vehicle they were investigating.
The user mentioned that it had been parked in a storage yard in Vancouver since at least 2015.
A single taillight is visible, the other is missing, and the grille is the same as that of a Rolls-Royce car; however, the taillights are located at the back.
The mystery continues
Adding to the mystery is the fact that the strange car has four exhaust pipes, suggesting it may have a rear engine.
People also noticed that the car had a radiator at the back, but that wasn’t enough to solve the mystery.
To further help our Reddit “car detectives,” the user posted another photo of the unidentifiable car from a different angle.
However, this was not enough to give anyone a clear idea of what they were seeing.
Comments on the post ranged from wild guesses to hilarious remarks, with one user commenting, “This is the first car I’ve seen where the problem can’t be easily solved by typing the make and model into Wikipedia.”
Another expressed his surprise with the comment: “This group is clueless? No way!”
Interestingly, the post office is still grappling with the mystery of the car and we hope to get some solid answers soon.
At this point, however, it’s probably safe to assume that the car is part of a wild DIY project.
