McLaren Construction says the company needed a solution that could support its growth.

The ability to access a visual record of construction sites from any location simplifies remote progress tracking, facilitates issue management and speeds up communication and decision-making between teams, says McLaren Construction.

With OpenSpace BIM+, McLaren Construction aims to increase BIM usage on site and improve coordination between construction site and office.

Thomas Flannery, Head of Digital Construction at McLaren Construction, commented: “As the company approaches the £1 billion turnover mark, McLaren is investing around £4 million over three years in the skills and sophisticated systems required for project and business management.

“These capabilities and systems ensure compliance with construction safety regulations and provide us with robust digital information management for all aspects of the design, procurement, change and quality control process. Following a very competitive tender process, we are delighted to partner with OpenSpace to support McLaren’s ambition for an open and optimized software stack to increase our customers’ efficiency.”
