The Real Housewives of New Jersey Co-Stars Jackie Goldschneider And Teresa Giudice have decided to end their long-standing feud.
“We were mean to each other for so many years. And yet we decided to forgive each other and move on,” Jackie, 47, said in the episode of her and Jennifer Fessler‘s podcast “Two Jersey Js.” “And a lot of people are really, really uncomfortable with that.”
Jackie claimed that in addition to the discussions of fans on the Internet, she also noticed that some of the other members of the RHONJ The cast was not happy. However, Jackie stood by her and Teresa’s decision to make amends.
“It felt right, like I was letting go of all that pain and suffering, that desire for revenge… that desire for destruction,” she explained. “By letting that go, I felt like I was bringing a lot of peace to my life and putting all that behind me.”
Jackie and Teresa, 52, were not the only ones present at the meeting. The women also brought their husbands, Evan Goldschneider And Luis “Louie” Ruelasas they were embroiled in the drama. As the reality stars’ feud progressed, both women frequently dragged their husbands into their arguments.
“We talked about it off camera. We apologized to each other, we apologized to our husbands,” Jackie recalled. “And we decided to move on, and the byproduct of that is a really beautiful friendship that continues to grow off camera.”
During the RHONJ At the reunion, which aired on Sunday, August 11, it was revealed that Jackie had previously spoken to Louie’s ex to get information to use during her feud with Teresa. (On Tuesday, Jackie claimed she wasn’t the only RHONJ Star, who spoke to Louie’s ex but did not identify the others.)
Although Teresa knew that something was wrong with her husband’s former partner, she was convinced that Margaret Joseph was behind everything. As a result, 40-year-old Louie had harsh words for 57-year-old Margaret and her family.
“I hope Margaret and her family are suffering. I hope her damn son is suffering like I’m suffering, like other people in our family have suffered when they’ve had to deal with a woman like that. She’s a disgusting, vile human being,” he told his wife on the show. “She’s here to take advantage of everything that’s happening and she’s a real piece of scum.”
After receiving harsh criticism for his remarks, Louie publicly apologized to Margaret and her son.
“The finale was very difficult for me to watch and I wanted to discuss it with all of you. After watching the finale, I was disappointed that I mentioned Margaret Joseph’s son,” Louie shared via Instagram Stories in August. “The reason he was even mentioned was because I was falsely accused of calling Margaret’s son at work, which is simply not true.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
