LAS VEGAS, Nevada – The Las Vegas Raiders are in the third week of 2024 NFL training camp and are preparing to host the Dallas Cowboys in their second preseason game.
The Silver and Black hope to name a starting quarterback after Saturday’s game, with Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew in a neck-and-neck race for the starting quarterback spot.
We spoke to WR Tre Tucker before practice today and have everything he said from training camp.

Raiders coach Antonio Pierce spoke from training camp. Below is a partial transcript of his statement.
Q: It looked like there were some breakdowns in coverage early in the game, especially in the zone. Do you think that was maybe due to communication or is that just the way it was in the first game? What did you see there?
Coach Pierce: “Yeah, it was just bad eyesight. I mean, when you stare into the backfield, stare at the quarterback, you stare and watch them complete the ball. And that was man coverage, not zone coverage.
Q: Do you give your Little League coach Adam Johnson any coaching advice?
Coach Pierce: “No, Adam, we need some advice from him. Damn, he’s in a World Series, we need some advice from him. I didn’t know he was such a good manager. We held him back. He sees the ball and the next thing I know I see this guy on ESPN celebrating with his team. So, no, we’re extremely happy. We’re going to announce that here in our team meeting. Support Adam from start to finish. He’ll be gone until his team hopefully wins the World Series and brings the trophy back to Nevada.”
